Here are some of the many cars that have passed expensively through my hands. It is an eclectic mix, but each and every one has lost money. Many are explored more thoroughly in the ‘Mutterings’ blog, do have a click.

This was my first car. VW Beetle 1200cc. Wet, downhill bends could be a bit dodgy.
Moved onto one of these, Mini 1275GT. Great fun to drive, and by the standards of the day, a good all round car.
Could not find an image of the car I had, it was similar to this, the Escort Mexico. My mate Scotty Bagshaw had the superior RS1600.We screamed around the Wetherby area at top speed all the time.
Now we're talking! This machine was staggeringly quick. I originally bought it to impress a new girlfriend; she became the current wife
TVR 420SEAC, possibly the fastest car I have ever owned. Appalling build quality and cost a packet in depreciation but it could out accellerate any thing!
The current car, MX5 that does everything the press says, fantastic, well equipped and more. I don't like it, and am suffering 'buyers remorse'.

I have revamped this site using WordPress, and it is very much ‘work in progress’ as I try to learn how to bend WordPress to my will. I have previously pooh poohed GUI type web development applications and always written my sites using notepad and crafting the various files, HTML and CSS, by hand. www.jonschofield.com is an example
